Replacing an Existing Radiator

I'm about to replace an existing radiator with one the same size. I have measured my existing one as 1346mm x 530mm. These are the physical dimensions of the actual radiator, with no valves etc included. When searching for a replacement radiator I can't seem to find matching sizes. I can only find 1400mm x 500mm or 1200mm x 500mm. Obviously I'm not too bothered about the height and I appreciate that it won't be exact, but I thought the length might be closer e.g. 1300mm. Am I measuring the wrong length - should it includes valves?

Thanks for any replies,

Rebecca.

If it's an old radiator try going to your local plumming merchant and measure in inches  They will convert to cms and suggest the correct or nearest metric new rad :D

Thanks for the reply. It's not such an old radiator, about 12 years old. In inches, the length was 53. I just converted it to mm as all new radiators seem to be quoted that way. I'll try your advice anyway. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. And thanks for the link to the 1300mm radiator Mick. Thanks again. Rebecca.
