Hi all,
I need to replace bath that cracked and started leaking. Current bath is 1675ish long, tiled around, fitted under the tiles line, where plaster was also removed and the actual edges face bricks. Distance between tiled walls is 1653 mm. I am faced with 2 options.

a) Get 1675mm bath and try to wiggle it into position - actually thinking of getting reinforced one (carronite??) - not sure it will wiggle easily. Removing tiles is the last resolve, as they are no longer manufactured and sourcing replacement would be a hell. Would have to use other patterns as I am not planning to redo whole bathroom (was done 7 years ago).

b) Get 1650 bath and use plastic profiles to fill the gaps between bath and a wall. This makes 3mm gap between one end of the bath and tiles. Sealing this over may not look great and the actual bond may not be as strong to last.

Any thoughts? Thanks
