Hi there,

I need to replace an existing 4 inch bathroom exrtactor fan. It's situated directly over the bath (and mixer shower head) and I'm pretty sure it's not 12V - can't see a transformer. A few questions:

Does the new fan have to be low voltage, as the existing fan isn't (i.e. is like-for-like replacement ok)?

If the new one does need to be 12V, are there restrictions on the location of the transformer?

Many thanks
