Replacing circular saw blade

Hi, i'm a heavy duty DIYer... a few years ago i bought a table saw and a dewalt compound mitre saw....my question is ... when is my saw blade blunt?
My saws get (for a DIYer) quite heavy use....most weekends, cutting rebates, rough timber, all sorts of board etc...
when is it right to get a new blade, and what sort should i get.... oh and what should i do with the old one?

In answer to your question you will notice the difference when you fit the new one. If no difference then keep the existing blade.
