Hi

First time on here
And found this website by chance

Thought best place to ask about replacing my downpipe

01. How much would it cost to supply and replace my existing downpipe with hopper (standard mid terrace 2 floors)?

02. The gutters and ground drains always get blocked by tree leaves
- is there a way to prevent this?
- ground drain has too many pipes going in (downpipe, kitchen drain, sink drain, washing machine drain) so cannot get one of those bog standard drain covers - any advice?
- i have seen pics of TWO hoppers for downpipes (for first floor and then kitchen floor) - would this solved my drain cover problem? Or would the kitchen floor cover get blocked by leaves as well?
- is there such a thing as hopper covers?

03. Is round or square downpipes better?

Many thanks everyone
Wayne

Thanks Blup!

I have tried a few sites like MyBuilder for quotes, but yet to receive anything :(

03 round is much better/easier. If your house is old you can get cast iron effect plastic, looks good (to me)(y)
