Hi everyone,

I’ve removed a Hive system from my house and would like to install in my daughter’s house. Some posts I read tell me it’s a straight swap, others tell me it’s a bit more involved. Can anyone point me in correct direction please?

Our house:
Underfloor heating with Heatmiser wiring unit which would turn on our heating when calling for demand irrespective of what Hive was doing. No way to control via Hive
Upstairs & hot water (stored in Megaflo cylinder) were controlled by Hive

My daughter’s house:
Single zone heating throughout
Megaflo cylinder for hot water
No separate room stat anywhere - radiators have TRVs (except in 2 bathrooms which left the loop open) and system would be simple on or off from Drayton programmer.

Can I just take off the Drayton programmer and attach the Hive unit on same backplate?

Many thanks for your help
