Has anybody tried replacing the fan oven element on a Baumatic oven? Is it straightforward? My model is a B185, it's a few years old now but was working a treat until the element went recently.
A third party element costs around a tenner plus postage and a baumatic branded part around 30 plus postage.
I've been quoted around 100 - 125 quid for an engineer to come out and replace it. Add a few more quid to those quotes and I could buy a new oven so I'm initially looking at doing the repairs myself.
Any advice would be appreciated.
