Good morning everyone,

Apologies for the newbie question. I'm looking to replace my existing glass with with a plastic uPVc one so I can install a sureflap cat flap.

I just wanted to check if the panel itself is actually removal/replaceable?

I'm guessing I have to remove those white covers? I'm hoping the panel isn't bonded in and can do unscrewed?

Anyone done anything similar or could point me in the right direction please?

Kind regards
Garrie

Yes it can but you'll have to strip the complete door down as there are no glazing beads to remove to take the glass out, the black rubber you see inside and out is one piece C shape called a wrap around gasket, you wrap this around all 4 sides of the glass unit and then thump on the aluminium sections one at a time, to remove the unit is the reverse of this, door needs removing from its hinges and putting on some tressles and then disassembling, couple of hours work for a service engineer/glazier
