Replacing grohtherm shower valve/control

Hi,

Can someone help.
The control for our Grohtherm wireless shower has packed up, it's a ceiling fed high pressure model, which Grohe no longer make parts for. Is it straightforward to just replace the valve/control unit with a Mira Vision unit and connect it to the existing plumbing + Grohe ceiling feed to shower head?
