Hi guys. My heated towel rail was installed in 2012 and works great but the corners of most rungs are rusty and the chrome flaked off. It hasn't got worse as I now always make sure to dry the rails after a shower. It's a very small bathroom which does have a humidistat fan over the bath and I do keep the window open as well but nevertheless condensation caused it. The rail is about 4 foot long by 1.5 feet wide. My question is, is it possible to get a better quality heated towel rail.more resistant to moisture?

Probably a cheap product at the end of its life .......... nothing seems to last as long as they used to

You might do better swapping the fan to a timer model and keeping the window shut ...............
