Hi all, I have a Honeywell T6360B room thermostat installed and I am about to replace it with the Horstmann ASR-ZW receiver and HRT4-ZW wireless thermostat.

The Honeywell is wired up as follows:
Terminal 1 brown wire.
Terminal 2 black wire.
Terminal 3 grey wire.

The earth terminal has an earth connection.

My understanding is that terminal 1 of the Honeywell T6360B is the live and terminal 3 is the switched live, and neutral to terminal 2.

The Hortsmann ASR-ZW:

So, I understand that the:

Brown wire from terminal 1 of the T6360B should be connected to the L (live) terminal in the back plate of the ASR-ZW.

Black wire from terminal 2 of the T6360B should be connected to the N (neutral) terminal in the back plate of the ASR-ZW.

But where should the grey wire from terminal 3 of the T6360B go to?

The installation booklet also states the requirement for a fused spur, where I do not currently have one.
Could anyone advise if this is essential, and which type would be OK, and how this might be wired?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. The black should be sleeved blue to denote it is Neutral.

To 4. It should be sleeved brown to denote it is live.

You will also need a brown link from L to 2.

Do you not have one somewhere which switches off the boiler and CH?

Ah, yes, there is a fused spur to the boiler already.

Is it acceptable to wrap the wires, with brown and blue insulation tape, respectively, around existing sleeving?

Excellent, thank you!
