Replacing interior door frames

Can anyone tell me how difficult this is to do? Our house is a 1980s barrett home so most walls are plasterboard. I would like to give the architrave a bit of a spruce up, but some of the frames have been pretty hacked up as well by previous owners trying to fit hinges so I might like to replace the whole thing on a few of them. the problem is that the frames look like moulded frames with architrave joined to the frame.

does anyone have any advice on how hard this is to do?
