Hi
One of the DG hoppers in upstairs bedroom has misted. I'm wondering if I can replace it myself. Can I remove it from inside?

20+ years old with satin aluminium outside and Upvc inside with rubber beading. I have removed three of the four beads but the unit looks too big to remove from the gap.

How is it done, please? And is it DIYable?

Thanks
Jim

Yes its do ,if the glass went in it'll come out it may have plastic packers wedging it in or even dots of silicon.Get a glazing company to make up another unit and pop it back in

Thanks Stephen, but will it come out to me in the room or to smash on the patio below  .

I've taken out the final seal and the glass moves a bit but I think the aluminium framing is moving too.

Can't check it ouside as I can't go up ladder

CR Smith (the makers) are just along the road, so no problem getting replacement unit.
