Hi,how easy is it too fit new sealed units into upvc frames.the frames are roughly 13 year old in good condition tho the seals have blown on all my windows and the usuall misty glass.thanks

Hi, i am not an expert, but i did this in my own house a few years back. Dead easy really, you have to get the plastic quadrant out first using a flat scraper and gently hammer it out being care full not to damage it too much.

Then measure the window up and get it made up - make sure to measure how high the window is from the floor in case it needs to be reinforced!

If it's a big window then you can get the glass sucker things from B&Q to help place the window!

You may need new spacers for the window? to make sure it goes in level.

Then replace the quadrant. think you get each end in first and use a rubber mallet to knock back in place.

Hope this helps

thanks for reply i'll attempt it and see how i get on,it doesn't look too difficult.is it reasonable enough price for the sealed units?cheers
