replacing my dewalt dw718v mitre saw

So having managed to "lose" my dw718 I'm thinking about finally replacing said item. I've had a look at the dws780 which looks like its replacement but before I take the plunge has anyone got any views/alternatives?

Eddie how the hell do you lose a 30 odd kg lump of a saw, wish I'd found it though

It was "appropriated" read stolen by my ex wife and given to person or persons unknown, like a lot of my other tools and car.

Got the dws780 myself and would highly recommend it, used the equivalent makita saw for the last couple of years aswell to compare it to and would rebuy the dewalt if anything happened to this one.
