Hi, my front door is old and damaged. My existing front door can be lifted off the hinges, (they did this when delivering my new sofa) does this mean i can just buy a new door and drop it onto the frame, or do i have to buy a new frame and have it all fitted by a pro.

Many thanks in advance.

If you replace the door & not the frame, it could be classed as maintenance so not problem but if you replace the frame as well, it’s a replacement & must be fitted either by a FENSA registered installer or, if you DIY, via a Building Notice submission to LABC in order the get a certificate of compliance (fee involved).
