Replacing PIR

Need to replace a couple of PIR's,is it correct i need to go into Engineers mode-remove main fuse-remove panel cover-remove zone negative.Do i need to remove negative battery terminal.
I have an Accenta 6 alarm panel,would be grateful for any advice.

p.s should i take out the panel fuses?

do as you say but remove the aux poss and neg wires in the panel that supply the pirs.really no need to remove the batt or the fuses if your careful not to short the aux wires when reconnecting them
