Iam replacing a mechanical room thermostat with a digital one.The terminals on the digital are NO,com, and NC.My existing wires are live, neutral and switched live.Could someone please advise me which goes where?

Neutral is not required for a digital room stat (but bateries usualy are (mine has) you should put the neutral wire in a coc bloc, and connect the live and switch wires to C (common) and NO (Normaly Open)

Thats great, thanks.Could you explain what is a coc bloc? for the neutral

sorry, its just a "common name" for connector strip
