I am looking to replace shower cubicle. I had a quote although we seemed to measure 10mm difference on the width of the shower. They measured 750mm and I measured 760mm.

750mm seems to be a rare find for a shower. I was looking to reuse the existing shower tray although I understand shower trays may not be able to accommodate larger shower cubicles. Is there an easy way to tell ?

If I have to change the shower tray am I at risk of the tiles being damaged and needed to be replaced etc.

Thanks in advance :)

Most ,if not all, shower enclosures have a degree of adjustability to reduce their useable widths. So an enclosure for 800 mm tray will often reduce by 20 mm or so. Their specific adjustment should be clearly stated on their technical info.

Thanks. Just to clarify, I need to order a 800MM shower cubicle to align with the size of the tray, but the cubicle itself will be smaller to allow for a gap of 10/20mm but will be labelled as a 800MM shower cubicle.

Would I be able to reuse this shower tray ?

Don't see any reason why you can't leave the tray as it is . If your tray is 800 mm square, then yes ,you need an 800mm square enclosure.

That's correct.

Possibly, remove the enclosure and clean off any old silicone etc. If in good condition it should be fine.
