How easy is it? Don't want to turn my water off & remove a tap only to find I can't fit the new one!

You're a hard man BJ

If you can manage to get the old taps off (which can be a pain) cut back the supply pipes and fit an isolater and flexi hose on each. Then fit to your new taps and hope you don't get a leak. :D

I know BAHCO, but I don't mind peeps not having a clue about subject matter but at least give us a bit of basic information. Even my wife knows there are many different types of taps !

No need to get arsey about it!

I just want to know whether replacing my bathroom sink taps will be more trouble than its worth.
Should I just pay someone to do it for me?

I replaced mine yesterday, took me half an hour. 8)

Verity.

If you have any plumbing experience its fairly straightforward.

Turn off the water, disconnect the tap connectors and take off the holding nuts with a basin spanner. Fit taps and screw up connections. Job done.
Old taps can be a nightmare to get off as is leaks if the connector is not lined up with the tap. Use flexis for easy install and isolators should be fitted also.
If you are not confident, pay a plumber as you could be there all day.

Thankyou for your help Bahco :D I'll attempt it this weekend (and have a plumbers number on standby!)
