Replacing temperature sensor in NEFF integrated microwave?

Hello, I have a NEFF integrated microwave that has error code 4 dispayed, which according to the manual is a faulty temperature sensor. Please can you tell me whether reinstalling the new sensor (which I can buy for about £50) is as as simple as clipping it in place, or does something else need to be done to over ride the error code before it would work again assuming that was all that was wrong with it. I have taken the back off and removed the old sensor already.
