The error codes on my hoover hed 6612-80 diswasher show there is a fault with the temperature sensor. Could any tell me if you can test this in any way, also where can I obtain a new sensor as I've been on the internet and cannot find one. Thank you for your help in this matter..

What flashing LED sequence are you actually seeing?....you may be barking up the wrong tree.

The pre-wash, wash light and rinse light brighten up simultaneously. Have checked temperature of the water and it is stone cold.

That only tells you that it isn't heating, it doesn't specifically mean that the NTC has failed. NTC's don't fail that often & a no-heat issue could be caused by any of the following: Defective heater element, bad NTC, broken wiring/bad connection in the heating circuit, or a duff pcb. Check the first two with your multimeter & take a peek at the wiring. If all is ok then the heater relay on the pcb has failed.
