Always do it yourself. And keep the receipts in an envelope in case something goes wrong

Yeah we use the single pole DNO cutout as the means of isolation in all board supply columns, Though in Cheshire they went through a phase of fitting those bloody awful TSS isolators above the cutouts.
When feeding a private supply out of a column say to some bollards or an illuminated sign we install a twin fuse double pole cutout above the DNO isolator. The area i work in uses Lucy Titan cutouts for private supply columns.

Do the DNO not allow you to use their cutout as means of isolation Streetlighter? Ours do when columns are installed on private complexes, and when installed for the council.
