Replacing wireless receiver with Hive - wiring advice please

It does seem it will work of sorts. What seems wrong is to have a modern boiler using on/off switching for the thermostat. Modern boilers should have a thermostat connected to the eBUS so it modulate's the boiler it does switch in simply on/off.
HI've is a very basic thermostat, Nest does have eBUS connections using opentherm

Many thanks. I’ve managed to delete the text for my question as I had a long think about it and figured it should work ok (so attempted to delete my post before I saw your answer!) ...and indeed it does! Nice and easy - no wiring required on my part. The thermostat was connected wirelessly to this receiver and the new Hive receiver seems to work just fine with the same wiring configuration.

Thanks again - great to have this forum to get some advice.
