Repointing mix to match existing

I've done the top half of the 1882 house in lime mortar (nhl3.5 and black sand) and now need to patch a few bits in the bottom half. Can't figure out what's been used as it's hard (like cement mortar) but has a creamy/pale surface but it's black underneath. Anyone got suggestions on how I get a colour match in either cement (yuk) or lime mortar ?
