reputable builder/electrician

Hi all,

I'm planning on revamping a house i've bought and are basically gutting it! But i'm really scared of getting like cowboy builders etc?! How can i find a good builder and electrician that I know is reputable and can actually do the job they say they can! I don't really want to ring around loads of people to do it though, what can i say, i'm lazy! is there any company or federation or something i can speak to who can do it??

Layz people normally find lazy builders

Ask around, your family, friends, neighbours etc if they know a reputable builder and/or electrician - word of mouth is best.
