Finished a softwood chalet type shed in the garden last year and put Sadolin Decorative finish. Looks great. However, we have now got a large area which is weeping white resin and we have scraped this off many times, only for it to reappear. Is there anything we can use to prevent this, ie a clear sealant over which we can reapply the Sadolin wood finish?

The resin is due to end grain of the timber appearing at the surface....you could try a knotting solution such as Johnstones which could help.
