Put a 1k resistor across the two silver screws, and another 1k between a silver screw and a brass one. Yellow goes to the silver screw with only one resistor leg in it, blue goes to the brass screw with one resistor leg in it. You can actually program the G2 for “dual loop” which does away with the need for resistors, you just need to wire up a global tamper.

It’d be a much better idea to replace them for new contacts with built in resistors. I recommend the Knight Plastics YEND 24. Less fiddling about and if the contacts are the same age as the Optima, they’re on borrowed time.

Thanks for that so do I change settings to normal closed zones in 51 parameters -46zone resistance and at the minute I've got all end of line resistors in the panel do I take these out (what do I put in there place would I just link out ).

Best to do this properly and put the resistors in the pir's and contacts. At least that way you will get better individual diagnostics for each circuit if there's ever a fault in the system. Intermittent faults on global tampers normally result in tamper being overridden without root causing device or wiring issues that eventually lead to false alarms.
