RESOLVED Miele CVA7445 brew unit

Does anyone know how to initiliae the brew unit on the above machine please? The brew unit was removed to clean it and now the motor cog is slightly misaligned and it's now impossible to reinsert the brew unit.

Instructions followed (turn machine off and wait, turn on again and motor should initiliase)
Have ensure that the brew unit is in the correct position to be inserted as per the instructions.
Called Miele and they don't have any technical help on the phone anymore without paying £59...

Have you tried resetting it several times. Some pics might help get an answer.

Yes I’ve reset it several times

There’s not much to see really, a cog that’s slightly misaligned and the corresponding cog on the brew unit won’t align to it

For anyone coming to this thread with a similar issue I’ve managed to resolve it.

There appears to be no hidden menu on this model therefore I decided to dissemble the brew unit and remove the cogged part of the mechanism. Leaving this out and screwing the brew unit back together I could easily reinstall it in to the machine. Turning the machine on and letting the motor for the brew unit initialise, I could then remove the brew unit reassemble correctly and reinstall.

All you need to undertake this is a torx screwdriver set.
