hi there
the above alarm system was fitted to my house when we moved in about three years ago, it has worked well until today, when the wife put the wrong code in to activate the system, since then althouth the alarm is silenced every time you activate the pir in the hall it bleeps on the system, i have tried to reset, but i cannot remove the fault,
has any one an idea how to fix the problem

There is no fault what so ever with the alarm. It is doing what it is supposed to. Your wife has turned the chime function on.
 
Press the CHIME button , and then deselect the annoying zone.
