response alarm PA8

hi there
i wonder if you could offer advice on the above alarm,the alarm is now about four years old and has been no problem until yesterday when we have been unable to set the alarm when leaving the house, you enter the code to set the alarm and normally there is an exit bleep which allows you to leave and the system sets and the alrm stops,
what is happening is that when you try to arm the system the exit bleep just continues without arming the system.
any help would be very appreciated

The alarm will not set if one of the zones is open , so look at the display to see which zone is in fault.If it is a door , make sure the magnetic contact is present.
