Response Wireless SA3 to SA1

Hi

I currently have a Response SA3 system on my house (don't laugh pro's!).

I will shortly be installing a Texecom Veritas excel leaving the Response system unused.

I was thinking of using it to alarm my sheds but I don't won't to use the mains/batt control panel anymore.

If I don't use the control panel anymore will the system automatically work as an SA1 system..ie sensors, fobs and alrm box only?
