What control panel to buy

We have an alarm system that has various wireless PIR sensors as well as a wireless Siren outside.

However the control panel was removed by the previous owner - he said because it developed faults and would go off all the time, I think it was a Texecom one.

Before I get quotes for a new system, will the PIR's and siren work with makes of control panels other than Texecom, or am I stuck with Texecom unless I replace everything.

Wireless devices are manufacturer specific, so you'd need to change sensors if changing panel to a different make. It may be that your sensors are very old anyway.

Post a picture and someone may be able to guide you on the best route forward.
