Some people recommend using wd40. I have no idea how long it lasts for though. Solvent based uPVC cleaner might be worth a try. I have used it previously to clean (road traffic) pollution stained white uPVC windows. It did a great job of cleaning them, unfortunately, they were filthy 6 months later.
On tour of polypipe years ago this fading was explained by the then md Kevin Mcdonald.
Brown (and black) have a colorant added to grey polymer to create the colour and it's mainly the colorant attacked by uv.
The pipe and guttering fades quicker because that's extruded and the fittings are injection moulded.
By the way all guttering starts life as pipe its split passed through a former then quickly cooled.
