Got a scaffold up at the moment to paint the house so thought i might aswell inspect the roof etc and fix anything else while ive got access...The lead flashing on my below window sils/on roof etc is all in good condition but it looks very weathered, with a light grey, almost white appearance.
Is there anything i can do to give it a refresh?
I was thinking of giving it a rub down with a coarse scotch brite pad ( non metallic so i dont get any rust bits in future) then treating it with some lead patination oil?
any other suggestions?
