Hi,

We live in an old house which has a damp-ish stone floor in the utility room/hallway. What is the best way to restore this?

I considered getting a chemical to remove the effloresence and a rotary wire drill bit to bring up the surface but I'm concerned this might be too harsh and leave a rough finish.

Any ideas? See attached.

Cheers!

Think you'd be better off hiring a rotary floor scrubber with some abrasive pads etc.
