I need to strap my roof top plate to my walls (2ft granite stone wall) however the plate is on the outer wall and too far away to use the bent restrain straps. Most of them have a bent at 100mm so it's not reaching the plate. What is my solution here? Can I use twisted restrain straps onto the rafter instead?
