Made a major f up on my tiles layout for my first DIY job, I failed and won't go into the gory details but I think i know why it went wrong.
I'm back to square one now.
I've managed to get the tiles off before the adhesive cured but some of the (Abacus) cement sections on the tilebacker has come off and i've scuffed some of the tanking tape when getting the adhesive off.
I also noticed some of the tanking tape has bubbled a bit, not sure if this was where the primer underneath didn't work before tbh?
I have half a tub of the everbuild tanking kit and i've bought some more tape.
Questions for the forum;
1. Is this enough adhesive off the wall?
2. Do i retank over the parts of tilebacker that has been lifted off?
3. Should I prime this whole section then paint the whole wall just to be safe? Will the tanking paint bond? Will the tile adhesive get issues?
