Revitalising 25 Year-Old Paintwork

I've been toying with over-capping my fascias and soffits, but wanted to ask about revitalising the paintwork instead. There will be a bit of refurb at the corners, but it seems in very good nick otherwise. The bit that we can reach (ground floor rear entrance) is gleaming really, and if I thought I could bring the rest up like it, I'd go that route instead.

The fascias and soffits have layers of gloss on, but in truth, I never really prepped after the initial build, just washed it and put another coat on. The initial job had primer, undercoat and top coat.

If I give it a go, I'll remove all the pvc goods, refurb and treat poor wood, and fit eaves protectors.

Any other advice please? Ta.

A good wash with a cleaning agent and anti fungal stuff will clean them up.

But typically you would be required to give them a lick of paint.

Over time with weather bacteria, etc the paint loses it ability to seal which is why they crack and peel over time.

Zinsser do a good permawhite paint that has something like a 7 year garuntee or something providing the preparation procedure is followed to the t
