We have a few old table lamps that won't work despite changing bulbs and plug fuses.... what we want to do is replace the wiring that runs through the middle and the 'head' where the bulb plugs in.... basically new wiring for old lamp....

But we can't find anywhere that sells a 'lamp rewiring kit'. Do they exist. We've found something close in America -

- but do these exist in the UK?

Thank you!

flex inline switches and lampholders can all be purchased quite easilly

depending on the lamp design however replacing those parts may not be so easy.

if the light has a switched lampholder or an inline switch theese are probablly the most likely points of failure if you have checked all connections. another possibility is wiring stress arround joins or passage into the lamp though this is quite rare with mains flex.
