rewiring route for 3 rings, upstairs, downstairs, kitchen

Quite simply,
can i run all 3 ring mains though the downstairs ceiling instead of the current way the house is wired?
i.e under ground floor floorboards for downstairs & kitchen & under upstairs floorboards for upstairs ring,

Pros - Ceiling has been removed so would be quite easy.

Cons - The only thing i can think of is that there will be multiple vertical routes though the downstairs walls so extra cable used and potentially easier accidently drill into (for future owners)

You can if you wanted, providing the cable is safely routed.

It will give you a higher resistances overall, as your cable lengths will be longer than it would using the downstairs floorboard routes.
