well guys you recall me talking of a boiler last week in the housing association property,
the HA sent an engineer to repair the boiler, please bare in mind a member of this forum said fault was ingnition board straight away and had no doubts about it.
well their guy says hes been a bg engineer for twenty years(yeah right) and has never seen a problem like this before:
ravenheat sci85 condensor turns off after ignition.
having made lengthy calls he then said ill change the ignition board and see how ti goes (hasnt been back to fit it yet)
resident(mother) asked whether it was a conventional combi or a condensing boiler(im sure you guys recognise the two previous post by now)
the engineer looked at the wall and said no otherwise it would have a drainage pipe(yes it would but the original fitter has fitted either to the bath or terminated it behind the kitchen unit) fitter would have found it if he looked.
the engineer also failed to find the installation requirements in relation to the flue(also posted and discussed on here very recently whether it was 25mm from gutter ect im sure you recall it).
having alerted the new development manager at the HA of existing problems and also gave the diagnosis of the fault, they have still failed to rectify the problems.
