Riello 40 FS10/GS10 not firing up in winter

Hi all,

I have a Riello 40 FS10/GS10 gas burner that heats our brewery boiler (essentially a big liquid tank) I had it serviced in May but when it gets colder and damper in the UK it seems to struggle to fire up at all and can take up to 30 minutes of restarting for it to finally fire up. I was hoping the service would stop the issue, but alas it has not.

It works fine in the summer its just the winter months when the issue happens.

what oil is this running on, 35 sec 0r 28 sec?

op states it is a gas burner so he/she/they need a competent gas fitter with commercial tickets(if over 70kw ) to give a simple adjustment.

Its Natural Gas

Is that the burner with the diagnostic lights on control box?
Is so they will give you a good idea what's happening.
You could check leads to ignition and ionisation probe are in good condition. After that you really need a gas engineer with experience on blown gas burners.
