Rimlock sizes to fit glazed door

Sponsored Links
If you consider an average external door of 44mm thickness will have a stile width of 90mm plus then a 60mm rim lock will be ok. Just make sure it's a snug fit with the hole you drill.

Are you sure you mean a rimlock?

Only seen these on older houses.

Normally you would fit a mortice lock and make sure it meets your house insurance requirements (Normally 5 lever).

The length is normally determined by the type of handle you chose to use (Lever/knob).

You would get a better response in the Wood/carpentry section
