Looking to replace an outdoor floodlight with a ring floodlight cam

Fitted the outdoor floodlight using 1.5mm twin and earth off the garage lighting spur and wondering if that’s sufficient to run the ring floodlight cam or if it would need 2.5mm cabling?

Struggling to unpick the load requirements

Thanks

After Googling the product mentioned, I cannot find any power consumption specs but I would guess that draws no more than 50w. You could probably wire it in bell wire and it would be fine,* so yes 1.0 or 1.5mm will be more than sufficient. The supply should be fused accordingly to protect the cable.

*just to clarify, this is a joke and one should never do this!

I replaced our external lights (halogen) with Ring floodlights which, I believe, are LEDs so will require very little current.
