For switching on three lamps in a bed room off one switch I take three round pin socket outlets and wire them how?

1) Simply in parallel off the the junction box. The 4 terminal junction box is on the main lighting circuit with a swicthed live terminal.
or
2) Do they have to make a complete ring with a return cable to the junction box after the last socket..... just like a mains ring....?

I assume the 1st is the one but I read somewhere to make a "switched socket ring"...so Im just checking.

Any advice welcome. Thanks.

Take them from the switched live, neutral and earth. They do not have to be wired in the form of a ring.

They will come on with whatever else that switch wire does but if it doesn't do anything else then all the better :)
