Riva Compact M96a 28SM/C locking out

Hi, my boiler keeps locking out, I am on lpg and the gas ran out, connected new bottle but boiler won't now light it keeps locking, both green lights flashing and solid red in the middle. I have gas on my hob. Any help please

Have you pressed the reset button on the facia of the boiler ?

Yes and as soon as we turn on the water or c.h it locks out again, it is sparking so trying to light

how many times has the boiler gone to lock out ,and how many times have you pressed the re set button. several attempts may purge the air out.

We have tried several times with just water, just c.h and both, still locks out

Yes reset several times on water only, c.h only and both together still locks out

how many times does the boiler go through its ignition cycle before it locks out ? ( how many times do you see sparks before it locks out )

Just once, it sparks numerous times trying tomlight

you could try several more times ,which should purge any air .if not I am afraid you are going to need an engineer as there is nothing else you can do.
