I knew Id heard they do.

it does say most stay put - but an interesting read all the same, and the RSPB seems to say similar, however we are probably stretching point to say they are a migratory species.
I guess most species will have some element that moves to another area looking for better conditions, and probably n important thing too to keep the gene pool healthy

Even humans who largely tend not to migrate, there are some who will be attracted to countries with enticing benefit systems.

2 million out of 8 million were not born on these shores - thats a significant percentage

My robin appears to be here all year round. Often in the garden whilst I am about. Never seen him with a suitcase so I dont think he goes to Spain at all.
