Hi,

I have just replaced a Robus RRF10 room thermostat with exactly the same mode,l as the dial got broken. The thermostat was replaced exactly as the engineer before had fitted it before. I'm not an engineer but it seemed a very simple job.
The problem is although I can move the thermostat dial so it clicks and the boiler starts, the thermostat doesn't switch the boiler off when the house gets warm. Similarly if the thermostat is positioned just before the room should get a little cooler, the boiler is never switched on.
In a nut shell the only way I can get the boiler to switch on and off is by turning the dial manually.
There is an override position which is switched to the correct setting.

Is there something I can do or haven't done ?

Any help appreciated.

Need some info on how it is wired up, i.e. terminals and colours - not that they always mean anything.
