Rogue trader??

If this so called rogue trader gets 7 years for fraud (1.7billion) and some one else gets 6 months for ripping the DSS for a couple of grand some things not quite right We live in a very twisted society

I would gladly do 7 years for 1.5 billion, there's no chance of him paying it back

Its not as if he has the money stashed away abroad somewhere. It was electronic money which, whilst he didn't see/have, it has cost us, the taxpayer/bank customer/saver etc a hell of a lot of money.
Still want to go down for 7 1/2 years when at the end you never really had anything to put in your wallet?

What they should have done is confiscate ALL of his assets.(including his suits, cars, houses , etc etc etc. Then given him 20yrs hard labour.

it apparently was actually 7 billion at 1 point,and through his skill got it reduced to 1.7 billion how the f+++ was he allowed to run up those sorts of figurs without someone putting there hand on his shoulder and saying OI NO.
